The Road to Graduation
Graduation & Senior Activities are right around the corner – are you ready? Deans are still collecting fees for graduation & our policy is as follows: no child can attend/pay for graduation or any senior activity unless graduation fees have been paid. As such, $100 should be sent to your child's dean, in the form of cash or money orders. No personal checks, please.
Senior Activities are a privilege and are by invitation only. Only students in good standing - both academically and behaviorally - will be invited to attend. Attendance & lateness also factor into the invitation process.
Report Cards: Monday, April 20, 2015
Report Cards will be distributed on Monday, April 20, 2015. Parents, please review your child's report card, and discuss the progress they have made. Don't forget to offer rewards for great work - and work together for solutions to academic challenges.
It is important to make every effort to develop seamless communication with your child's teachers to increase your child's focus on academics. If you were unable to make the Parent Teacher Conferences (on March 12), we urge you to make an appointment to visit with teachers on any Tuesday from 3 pm through 3:30 pm. Let us help you make an appointment! Call us at 718.941.5450, give us the name and “subject” of the teacher you would like to meet, and we will inform the teacher that you would like to meet.
It's not too late to take the #NYCSCHOOLSURVEY!
Have you filled out this year's #NYCSchoolSurvey? Filling out a survey is quick, but it goes a long way in giving your school valuable feedback about instruction, safety, family engagement & other important issues @ your child’s school.
¿Ha rellenado la encuesta de este año? Llenar una encuesta es rápido , pero va un largo camino en dar a su escuela información valiosa acerca de la instrucción , la seguridad, la participación de la familia y otros asuntos importantes en la escuela de su hijo.
